Rangers or QPR
A couple of my non-supporting mates say 'are you off to see the Mighty Hoops?'

If I'm talking to another QPR fan, then I refer to us as Rangers. If I'm talking to a Non-QPR fan that clearly knows a bit about football, then I refer to us as QPR. If I'm speaking to someone I think might be a glory supporter / armchair Premier League fan (i.e. the vast majority of 'fans' you meet in Middle East and Africa), then I'll refer to us as Queens Park Rangers.

Rangers. Telling your wife you’re thinking of spending a few hours down the bush could majorly backfire in terms of what she thinks you’ve got planned for a Saturday afternoon.

When I say I am off to football it only ever means one thing. The only question I ever used to get was"Is it home or away?"
