Was on the radio talking about his gambling addiction that came about by being in a changing room, while on loan, that had a massive gambling culture.
Did spend time with us and the amount of money players on around that time you could imagine lots of relaxed attitudes to losing large sums here and there.

Listened to that earlier he did 40k on one bet , came across as a nice bloke You seen how many loans he had before his stint at ours? Must be prem years when he could afford to lose 40k in one hit, unless spurs had him on ridiculous amounts even before he impressed with us |

Just confirms the opinion held by many that's its too much too young with these guys. Worse when most of them don't seem that bright either.

I think that that is one of the things that Paul Hall is getting right with the youngsters; giving them a good attitude to go with their talents. I get to speak to quite a lot of the Academy players over the course of a season and to a man, they are all pleasant well rounded characters with no airs and graces. There was a similar comment from a sports journalist recently when he met some of them on a train. From their Twitter feeds, it would also appear that a number of them are fairly religious and always give thanks to God after games. These are hard times at QPR but it is a blessing that we have such a likeable bunch of players and the skills to keep us on our feet at games. |

He also said he was at his parents home and had no kids so it wasn't that bad at the time as only he suffered ..
