Me and Al discussed this walking to the station last night
The more we pass it the better we get and you can see the improvements/confidence plus the more we as fans watch them passing it the more comfortable we become watching which I think players feel on the park
Personally don’t think we have let that many goals in from passing it about, more from basic bad defending and organisation as Hal was the first to highlight
Defending Set pieces remains concern that area needs addressing

Kelly has Made the world of difference IMO. Far better keeper than lumley at present and has a better understanding with the guys in front of him. Barbet has also come back well from his injury. Long may it continue

Be interesting to hear views of those that sit in loft but Kelly seems very vocal and always barking out orders which must help defence

Kelly has made just as much difference to our improved form as Barbet IMO.

Unforced errors are slowly disappearing but there are plenty of mistakes in our marking at set-pieces.

Dicuss! 🙂 We appear to be employing zonal, badly. i think zonal is working better with cameron and ball back in the side as they often rotate to cover CBs. ball has been immense in his role lately . i think it should be a combination of the 2 though. a combination of different players marking various opponents in their zone and then dropping off them when said player moves to a different zone when the opposing player leaves that area. its only something that needs to be employed whilst defending as our 4 front players can do the majority of the closing down whilst our 6 defensive players can hold formation and mark opposing forwards. everyone does their part but in different ways, that way we stay organized and know what area to pass the ball to when we win it back

Dicuss! 🙂 We appear to be employing zonal, badly. actually think we’re employing both, very badly We have four in zones and others picking up players so it’s bit hectic. Like the passing if we’re going go down this route then we’re going to have to expect mistakes until it’s cracked. Benefit of doing it this way is in theory we should have two men competing for every ball, although it don’t look that way currently, the zonal marker and the man
