We have had loads of loans, especially since the TF prem days
Shame we never got hold of Routledge on a perm but I would love to have signed Townsend or Walker thought they were both terrific for us
Any advances?

Mark Kennedy.
Played 8 games for us on loan in 97/98 and was by far the best player we had that year.
Easily won Player of the Season but the club fixed the outcome so they'd avoid embarrassment.

Nakhi, Routledge, Townsend, Walker all were great for us overall.

Might be wrong but I'm sure Warnock mentions in his biography that it was a choice of SWP or Routledge in that transfer window. |

Yes mate, routs signed for the swans a few weeks before takeover was complete
Warnock was feeding on scraps up until that point - gabbidon, boyhroyd, dyer all on frees
I think we paid money for DJ Campbell only because of gorkks being sold to raise the funds
