Biggest game of the season so far. Is it? Why so? You still reckon we can make the play-offs?

Yes Tarbie. Teams above us are struggling.

Can't see it myself mate. We are down to bare bones at the back with Hall struggling for fitness again. Hugill is our only real Championship level striker and he loves a yellow card so will miss games even if he stays fit.
Very impressed with how we've rallied since Wells went, I actually think that losing his goals has forced us to improve in other areas. But I don't see us being equipped enough to continue our current form for the remainder of the season. And let's be honest, that's what's required if we are to have a chance of making the top 6.
I'd love to be proven wrong though!

Yes also impressed with how we have played since Nacki left
Manager has motivated them well over the last few weeks
Not sure about next season without Eze Bos Manning Nacki if they all go though don't even want to think about it

Perhaps we over estimated impact Wells had
Have we missed him thus far? No not imo

Think the not missing him bit is a bit of a knee jerk reaction as clearly Oteh is not overly fancied by Warburton.

It is possible that BOS may only be on the bench at most tomorrow as one more booking gets him a ban but the amnesty is on Monday I think. PNE have been a real bogey side for us in recent years and I was very pleasantly surprised with our win and clean sheet at home. A double would be too much to ask for wouldn't it?

Genuinely don’t think we have seen any tangible impact of his absence. Yes obviously would still like him as an option but we have not suffered from his absence. If anyone is suffering it’s him

Not sure he is suffering after bagging a good deal at a top half club.

Thought we were talking football not financials. Go hand in hand in modern football. They are a solid if unspectacular top half team. We are trying to find stability so would argue he has done ok with the move.

I am of the opinion that Nahki was part of a perfect storm scenario of him, Eze, Samuel, Manning & Chair all having an empathic relationship on the field where the sum of the parts was greater than the parts. Once one of them was removed from the set up (Wells) his stats dropped significantly. The other four built up their empathy playing together in the U23's and Wells just fell into a style of play which really suited his particular talent(s). I think that once those guys get split up, they won't have the same impact in a side that we are seeing at QPR immediately but, with time and the right players around them, they will go on to better things. If MW can do with Ball, Kane, Masterson, Barbet etc. what he has done with those 4/5 players then we could have another exciting season ahead of us next season.

Oh, and I like him because he also was a fighter who went through bad spells but kept on trying...

He looked relived when that went in. I fancy us against Fulham they look really average side given what they have spent

Is Masterson injured? Given ourselves a bit of a headache at Centre Half, haven't we?

Haven't won there in 40 years, can't see that changing today. Would take a draw.
