Going 2-1 up at City, with 10 men, when we needed to win (or so we thought) to stay up was a magic "moment" When Mackie ran towards us, we just knew where the ball was going. I still maintain that we let them win once we were safe just to piss Fergy off.
Got to say it. I hated the fact that we basically downed tools that day irrespective of who knew what when. You just don't do that as a pro.
I was bringing a sportsbike back from London to W.Dorset, lovely day too. Stopped off for a cuppa and we're winning, beautiful. I spent the rest of the journey wondering if we'd hold on. It wasn't the biggest surprise that we didn't.

John Burridge’s save away at Charlton in Oct 81, world class. I didn't think of it when you first posted, but did you go to the game at home against Liverpool when Ian Rush headed the ball past David Seaman but Harry arched backwards and palmed it up over the crossbar. It was very similar to the famous Banks save from Pele and probably just as good. I probably went to the Liverpool game, it was as rare as rocking horse sh it I missed a game at home until 2015.

Lets talk about something nice instead of Corona virus, the first time Rangers beat Chelsea in the FA Cup and the League.
January 1974, during the height of the winter of discontent, a 3rd round replay at Loftus Rd on a cold Tuesday afternoon, i think the kick off was 2pm, we all bunked off school to attend.
The Loft, taken by hundreds of Chelsea hooligans was stunned when Stanley out jumped Mick Droy to score the only goal of the game, and the scum were dumped out of the FA cup in the 3rd round by little old Rangers.
This was too much for the Chelsea scum in the Loft, they decided to smash the place up, they demolished the wall and the goal, then rampaged from the Loft to the School End.
December 1974, Stamford Bridge, I went with my Chelsea supporting uncle. Stanley, Gerry and the boys ripped Chelsea apart 3-0, it should have been 5-0, uncle Alec was not happy, shame.

1 getting too the bog in the Ellerslie Rd stand at half time before the 2nd half starts. 2 getting to the bog in SAR stand at half time before the 2nd half starts. 3 getting a drink in the blue and white club at half time before the 2nd half starts 4 understanding anything the pa is saying. 5 sitting through 90 minutes one match with the smelliest twat alive without losing my rag. 😀
