Can imagine there having a nightmare
Do you just write seasons off and start again afresh in August, do you try and finish it off or do you say how it sits now are the final standings
Personally if we can get matches back before end of April think I would go Saturday midweek back to back games, to get games in for remainder of the season and extend season By a month if needed
What are you suggestions??

Cancel it and make the scousers wait even longer to win the league.

They will pp the Euro matches so play out the season later. There is hardly a summer break these days anyway. Joking aside about Scousers and Foolham etc. its not fair any other way.

I'd guess when we are over the worst of this they will try and get some games played behind closed doors. The season is gonna need significantly extending though. And then what do we do about Euro 2020?
Perhaps we may end up losing a year or combining 2019/20 and 2020/21 in some way?
I'm also starting to wonder what will happen with player contracts etc. What happens if they expire before we are able to finish the season?

Have to end it now. Where teams are placed now is the final day of the season.

Reckon euro 2020 are defo off this year Tarbs for no other reason that plantini decided to spread it over 10 or so countries. We don’t even know all teams going either as knockout games been called off I think so likes of Scotland are in limbo
So if were being advised to avoid travelling how can we have fans zooming all over Europe for group matches. If it did go ahead fans I’m guessing would get great deals on flights and hotels as those industries will be desperate for the trade
If it was in one country it might have better chance of happening but is it to late for then to put that in place?

And not televise them to keep people out of the pubs and bars, might be the thinking.

Write off this season as null and void, the way it stands now is how it begins next season. No promotions, relegations or titles. Then watch Liverpool, Leeds, Fulham and Brentford fans throw a strop 🤣

I think this makes sense but for our club it’s dangerous road to go down. It’s alright having the odd game on Sky but if fans get used to watching all the games in the comfort of their front room with food, beer and toilets on hand plus no travelling they may think this is better and opt for the knock of stream route going forwards costing club money

The Euro's will not go ahead and I would be suprised if another ball is kicked this season in any league and the 2 european club competitions will be lost as well

as above, don't think we've even seen the worse of this virus. I reckon the start of next season could be in doubt too. As for sorting out the promotions/ relegations and champions, good luck with that

You can't freeze the positions as they currently are as there is still a fifth of the fixtures to be played. As we have seen and commented on all season, any team can beat any other team so any data crunching wouldn't reflect what really happens in the Championship on a week to week basis. April 3rd is just the date when the EUFA / EFL will reconvene to decide on next steps and, with predictions of a June peak, I will be astounded if the football is back on the next day... or at all. There will not be a fair and equitable outcome to this season IMO and the losers will have to suck it up. I can also see it affecting the Summer transfers situation and the position of players with contracts running out in June who, if the EFL decide to fulfil the rest of the fixtures from this season as soon as the all clear is given, may be out of contract and not eligible to play.
