Kenny Burns, he got taken off at half time in a game against us in the 70’s when he played for Birmingham, on referee’s advice, I seem to remember.

Personally I couldn't stand that Georges Santos. With hindsight he probably wasn't a terrible centre half, but Ollie loved to play him up front and centre mid and wherever else. That period towards the end of Ollie's first stint was one of my least favourite times supporting the club. Used to turn up every week wondering what the fuck the manager was gonna do next!

Obviously Terry, but I can't stand that complete knob Steven Taylor of Newcastle. Firstly do you remember that time when Newcastle were playing Villa, I think it was, and he deliberately handled a goal bound shot, and went down, rolling around like he's been shot.Secondly when we played Newcastle in our first season up, and we wiped the floor with them in a 0-0, and they had a free kick on the edge of the box, and Paddy Kenny was trying to line our wall up, and he was a couple of yards in front of him, jumping around, waving his arms about so he couldn't do it. A complete tool.

That period towards the end of Ollie's first stint was one of my least favourite times supporting the club. Used to turn up every week wondering what the fuck the manager was gonna do next! That's hardly fair on George Santos mate! It wasn't his fault Ollie played him all over the park. But even though it was a fairly unhinged period, when hasn't it been?? I actually quite enjoyed it all back then. When we went down to the 3rd div or whatever it's called now I started going to away matches again for the craic. I missed the end of the 2002-3 season as I went to Oz to write a film, but I came back in early 2004 to enjoy the ride all the way to promotion at Hillsborough. As for most hated defender, I can't say I hate any of them. Obviously, Terry earned my utter contempt, can't stand that bloke. Certainly didn't hate any of ours, but plenty seriously frustrated me! Morrow. Remember him? When Houston and Rioch came in and brought him with them. I was thinking Arse defender, can't be that bad, actually might be middling good. How wrong I was. The trouble for our defenders during that period was that we had such shit keepers behind them, Jurgen Sommer being the no. 1 culprit.

To be fair Hubs, I thought we were talking about QPR defenders only when I responded. Clearly if it's any defender I would have said John Terry!

Before my time, but was that the guy who broke poor Busser's leg at Fulham? Heard it said it was more of an assault than a tackle. Bus was an exceptionally cultured player, but never had any speed when I saw him play as I recall. Guess it was down to that injury.

Def had lost his bottle when he came back - couldn't blame him - so no way was he going to be the player he could have been.
