Can someone ask him to fully explain the circumstances as to why he left Brentford please. tbh i always thought that was obvious. he'd done a brilliant job at brentford and his stock was pretty high. don't get me wrong, brentford were and still are a good team but they were still a small club working on a tight budget so i guess warbs wanted a bigger challenge. he quit his kooshty job in the city afterall to focus on football and has always been an ambitious guy. rangers and forest didn't work out for him but i don't think he did a terrible job at either but they wanted immediate success so his stock fell when he didn't bring trophies which is why he ended up with us. smart move for him though as we don't have any immediate ambitions and are a blank canvas of a club atm that could seriously challenge for promotion in a few years if we keep doing what we're doing so thats what attracted him here |
