First proper RB I remember in the hoops. From memory he was top class in his role. Remember him always putting balls into the box and don’t recall many getting the better of him
Should have had more then one cap for England
Where did he go after us?

a brief return to Blackpool and now works in the States. Agree, The Bard was quality

He runs an academy in the US now and the team play in blue & white hoops. He still speaks very fondly of his time at QPR. Fond memories include the cushioned back headers under pressure which earned him the sobriquet "Cucumber" and the one time when his radar was a bit off and those long range curling balls down the touchline weren't coming off, this caused Ray Wilking to come running over to him and, about 15 yards from the Loft, began a tirade which started with "80 fucking yards every fucking time with you isn't it, 80 fucking yards, try fucking passing it to someone that you can fucking reach eh, 80 fucking yards". (There may have been more fucking in his rant but that was the gist of it). Bardsley looked a little shocked but the next chance he had he sent one down the line again. Probably not quite our best ever right back but certainly one of my favourites.

I was going to say his passing was shocking. When we had Francis and Falco up front, they'd no chance with his passing. Then along came Sir Les and with his pace The Bard got away with some shockers

Was a very good right winger at Watford in rhe mid 80's before he ended up with us at RB. Great crosser of the ball and was perfect for a RWB role.
