Decent player in his day. He's about to turn 35 years old though. Not sure he'd add much to the squad at this stage of his career. But then again I don't know if Geoff Cameron and Angel Rangel are still at the club (both are out of contract this month). Might just be a case of needing numbers.

Yes fully recovered now after a month of total illness Tarbs
The virus is as bad as everyone is saying people need to take it seriously
Had one night in bed that i coughed so much my rib broke omg total agony so much pain , i could actually feel the virus moving down my body each day mental
But fine now much thinner / Every cloud mate
How are you doing Tarbs are you more settled or not mate ?

Glad to hear you fully recovered mate. Sounds like you've been through the wringer though! My experience was very different. The actual respiratory illness lasted a couple of weeks. High temperature, swollen glands, exhaustion, chills etc. I never had the hacking cough that you describe, although I did have pretty extreme shortness of breath at times. On the whole I wouldn't say that part of the illness was any worse than a dose of the flu for me. The tough bit for me has been getting back to normal. It's been a couple of months of periods of feeling close to normal, mixed with waves of symptoms like bad headaches, fuzzy vision, fatigue etc. I've had pretty much constant tinnitus, ranging from mild to an extremely loud high pitched ringing. Codeine is the only thing I've found that shifts the headaches and tinnitus when it comes on bad. I've also had some really peculiar skins complaints, chilblains on my toes etc. The bit that’s really hurting me in getting my life back to something like normality is the brain fog and general fatigue it’s left me with. I’ve been trying to land a new job but with the economy struggling that’s no easy task, made worse by the fact I’m not firing on all cylinders. Covid-19 is a peculiar disease. I think it’s left my immune system completely off kilter, and the doctors don’t know yet how to treat the after effects. It really shouldn’t be taken lightly by anyone, even if they are young and healthy. |
