Thought given comments on other thread might be worth having dedicated thread for suggesting players

For starters Dave Webb, Terry Fenwick, David Bardsley - without question. All genuine club legends

The other two have been abroad but Dave Webb is UK based afaik, so can't understand why he's not yet been inducted. He's getting on a bit too, so it shouldn't really be delayed.

apart from the players getting a handshake, along with a round of applause from the fans and maybe a few free beers, what actually is foreverR's?
is there some granite stone where the former players names are etched into it, maybe a statue or even a wall full of forever'rs players......
what actually is forever'rs?

what actually is forever'rs? A nice way to honour and commemorate club legends, particularly for the ones who are still alive to appreciate the recognition?

The stuff you see on the pitch is pretty much as you describe but there is a lot that Andy Sinton does behind the scenes for our ex players who are in poor health and maybe fallen on hard times. When I found out from Roger Morgan that Ron Hunt was in a bad way after a personal family tragedy about two years ago I collared Andy after a game and asked him if the club could do something for him. Andy appeared concerned and said all the right things so I left it at that. I saw him again on his way into the ground and asked him if he been able to find out anything about Ron and he told me that he had driven to the west country a couple of times to Rons house and spent a few hours chatting to him and had been on the phone at least once a week to check on him. I believe the club helped out the family with Rons funeral costs too. He regularly phones up ex players and since the lockdown has been busy checking up on older, vulnerable fans too. The football this season has been entertaining but the stuff the club have been doing in the community in the last few years, the response to Grenfell, the food banks for locals etc. are all reasons to be very proud of what the club represents in the W12 area. We have some decent, moral people running the club now that go above and beyond their job descriptions to engage the wider QPR community.

Terry โeyebrowsโ Venables I fear his frequent appearances in Tom Bower's book Broken Dreams may preclude his appearance at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

Gary Bannister would be a better choice than some already inducted if Iโm being honest.

For Forever Rs to really mean something special to players nominated and our fans I would agree with Hitman that there should be a Monument or even permanent memorabilia displayed on parts of our stands but only to true legends of the club..

#ScrapingTheBarrel #GenuineLegends? I'd suggest there is a finite amount in the list of genuine R's Legends, otherwise where does it end? lol Adding to it for the sake of it just detracts from the real list.

Zech Rehman being included made it lose it's appeal to me. Some added only played for a couple of seasons and whilst they were good, they weren't great.
Anyone have access to the list?
