I suppose with FFP, the £2m is virtually all profit and I am guessing the loan fee/wages less Furlongs wages will mean a net profit on the whole deal.
It seems a bit short-sighted but we don't know how desperate the figures are do we?

We’ve just signed another fucking goalkeeper!! You’ve seriously go to wonder if the wages could have been put towards our shortage up top. Does a middle of the road championship club really need 4 goalkeepers? They are saying ones going out in loan but even so seems a bit of an overkill He is being brought in to develop in the U23's... as part of our ongoing get them in as cheap as possible and sell them for whatever we can get for them policy. His Competition will be Tyla Dickinson & Marcin Brzozowski |

All the fuss surrounding Darnell leaving for a reasonable price sounds like the very same noise being made when Cole Kpekawa was "given away" to Barnsley. He is currently, at the age of 21, bumbling around the lower reaches with Billericay Town. Sounds like QPR did a good bit of business with him. Hardly the same thing is it. Furlong, has played over 100 games for us and had a very good season for us last year, hence why WBA are in for him and not Barnsley! |

Honestly, not really. Probably one of our worse players last season along with our other goalkeeper who somehow managed a move to Bristol City. Fair play to them both but don’t get your hopes up. Hopefully he proves us all wrong though.

Which is a good thing, Dieng getting regular games. |

It literally says in the article that we have a keeper going out on loan. Barnes is extra cover for that loan move.

For the right fee I would punt Lumley on as long as the dough is re invested in the team. Cupboard is starting to look bear and then what happens? Said a while back it reminded me of the Chris Wright era and stick to it.
