Could be a good thing but only if we stay up this year and we need strikers to come in for that to happen. The 2 loannes from Spurs and City look like good signings but not sure on the rest and that is why the strikers we get need to deliver.

Not sure they were battled hardened. Never saw Lynch running through walls he was as weak as they came. When you struggle year in year out you need change it. Squad last few seasons was week and under performed under various managers. Time for change Change maybe mate, but for a bunch of inexperienced kids and players that have never played championship level (barring 1) seen this picture all to often over the years with other clubs. always ends in failure. respect your opinion though and hope you are right mate. i guess we will know come may 2020

I personally think it's quite exciting! I certainly like the look of Amos, Masterson and Barbet in pre-season. And we've yet to see Smith and Wallace, with the former sounding a great prospect. Shodipo, Chair and Eze all excellent in the last game too. First 10 games of the season is the acid test though.

I take it Warbs thinks Kakay and Ball will be enough in reserve for Rangel (or vice versa) ?!

so 1 rightback who is 37 for the season then ffs Cameron can play there and he's reportedly close to signing. Dominic Ball can also play there. End of the day, you'll be the first to complain if we don't get strikers in. If we have a limited amount of funds and it's an option of right back cover or attacking options then it's an absolute no-brainer for me!

so we are at the stage of moving players around the pitch to cover positions that they are not specialists in.
this is going to end in farking tears.

Had zero cover for Bidwell at left back, hence Manning was used there despite never playing left back before. What do you propose as a solution then mate? Magic wand to make money appear out of thin air, or make our accounts look better so FFP cuts us some slack? We are where we are. Ain't ideal but moaning constantly ain't gonna change a thing!

We are probably pulling out of the deal for Dujon Sterling as Chelsea will want a big loan fee for him. What did you expect, that Chelsea would send him here for nothing and run the risk of him getting injured for no financial gain? No doubt we can revisit the deal if we can bring a bit more money in from somewhere, but for now what little funds we have are going to be used to land a few strikers. Dunno why it's so hard to understand that there isn't enough money in the pot to bring in every player that the fans want mate! And you're wrong about carrying players out of position. If we can land 2 or 3 strikers, we'll have decent cover everywhere. Cameron is definitely inbound and has played right back plenty of times. Also we still have Osman Kaykay. Really no different to last season, in fact we have a more balanced squad if anything!

Personally thought Kakay was doing reasonably well last season and was scape goat for the horror of the Hawthorns. The worst players were the senior ones but they all retained their places whilst the kid got dumped
Looks raw but same time looks like he’s worth investing the time in

Last season we also played Eze on the wing and Scowen DM. Both out of position.

Decent scoring record for Maribor. Signed for Brighton in January but was loaned straight back to Maribor, where he scored 4 in 10. Only 20.

Sean also mentioned that we are also pulling out of the deal to sign sterling the rb from scum? That's a little concerning.

He is highly regarded at Brighton, who signed him on a 3 1\2 year deal, as one for the future.
