Any glory has long gone. We a poor side in a tiny poor ground. We got no money, hamstrung by size of ground to generate more. Our cream will be gone and we will never know how little for as famourss undisclosed be used. We will probably end up a div1 side. Don't thank me for cheering you up.

Maybe we could just return to the dressing room after the kneeling? That seems to be all we practice on the training pitch. Just stick to the comms? Quizzes are good.

From paying 35 yr olds 100k a week To not having 100k to spend on a player WTF Maybe it’s because we have been piss poor since restarting but I find it offensive that the club have furloughed all of the players bar the first team squad when considering what the General is saying. Next season we will be told youngsters have lost half a seasons training and haven’t progressed enough to challenge for a first team spot. #Cheapskating

Esox
I think the comments on this thread show the passion and the total disappointment on how our once great club has ended up at the moment Having been going to Rangers for 42 yrs now and I'm really upset at the fact we fucked it up so badly I would be happy with a top 6 or 7 championship team not even in the premier league
But when you look at the fact that Brentford are actually a better team and better run club than us I never thought I would see that day People like Hits and myself are so desperate for the club to be successful and feel we have now lost our chance After having a perfect platform to build in living in the shadow of Spurs Arsenal and West Ham for so many years It goes right back to school make since I was13 years old We still want success but when we cannot buy a player as we have no money it's frustrating The team needs investment we are a Sunderland waiting to happen.

If we as fans accept mediocrity or less then I’m quite sure that’s what we will end up with.

I accept that since 2010-11 it has been a clusterfuck and that includes Bobby Zamora day. That season we had the highest wage bill by far in the Championship and were getting battered in the play off final until 10 seconds from the end. Since candleface departed we had TF spouting about getting his dream manager and appointing Chris Ramsey! Thank fuck we managed to persuade him to stay in a role he is far more suited to, and acknowledged as one of the best in football. If go back a few seasons all the QPR fans wanting us "to regain our rightful place in the top flight" were quoting Swansea City as the team to aspire to being. Before that it was Southampton we needed to copy. Brentford are just the latest reincarnation of that grass is greener scenario. When FFP was introduced I took the time to read through the regulations thoroughly and came to the conclusion that the football league clubs would never vote for it as it was just a mechanism to make the rich clubs richer and the poor clubs poorer resulting in the top teams pulling up the trapdoor and fuck everyone else. I got a lot of abuse for that point of view, people pointing out that clubs can't just go on spending beyond their means etc. and I agree, but the way FFP was structured then, and the revisions now in place with P&S have done nothing to dissuade me I interpreted the regulations wrongly. I believe that our board is made up of folk whose personal wealth would have us as the second or third richest club in the world but, due to P&S regulations, they are forbidden from doing what Chelsea, Man City etc. did. Rich owners can no longer invest heavily in making a team the best in the league and as we have seen with Sheff. Weds, Derby, Forest etc. trying to circumvent the regulations results in punitive sanctions. The game is loaded towards funnelling the money to the top of tree and if clubs go under in the meantime then fuck their luck. Due to the financial restrictions introduced since Les & Lee took over running the football club we are in no danger of being a Sunderland waiting to happen, we will continue to operate as a club teetering between being in the black and being in the red until such a time as we can generate a revenue stream which allows us to buy top quality players within our budget. There is no entitlement to be a successful club just because we were one once. I have been going since 1966 so I have been fortunate to have enjoyed every bit of success that we have ever had in our lifetimes, and I would dearly love to see some of that again but not at the expense of going out of business, which is a real possibility at this time. Constantly slagging off Les & Hoos shows an ignorance of what is required to keep QPR on an even keel, especially after the complete spunking of £250m with almost nothing to show for it. Wage bills that are twice the revenue generated by the club are suicidal these days and getting to the levels the club have done currently means that we won't be attracting the best players any more and that is the price that has to be paid until something which is fair to all the EFL clubs is done about FFP. I am not going to be around long enough to see another 55 years of watching QPR but I would like to think that we still had a club at that time and what I see the current board doing makes me sad that I won't be going to Wembley or romping the Championship any time soon but glad that we won't be going under any time soon. I get the sense in a lot of posts I see from QPR fans that they couldn't a fuck about any of this but QPR need to make sure that they aren't having the piss taken out of them for being a QPR supporter. Hubris seems to blind them to cold hard facts.

Agreed but he team needs investment it's so obvious to see.
We wil have no Eze Wells Hugill and prob Bos next year all our best players this year are going
People need to wake up there playing a very dangerous game
Why can't Warbs have the whole 15 million Eze money to buy some proper player instead of 34 yr olds from Rangers second team it's a joke

The dangerous game wrt QPR is risking blowing a hole in the P&S regs in a gamble that we would definitely be promoted. Failure would be the end of QPR. I think you already know why MW can't have every penny we make from transfers, as unpalatable as that may be.

Feels likes another WATRB type fallout here #releasetheemails I did request access but nothing ever came of it 🤣 I know a few people were unhappy about everything off topic being moved to a hidden section as we had some good non QPR threads going on in here before the change. Ah well. Should've just done away with politics talk.
