We won't be spending our way out of this, impossible with FFP and everything that's going on with the world at the moment. Warburton will need to work with the young players coming through, free transfers and the loan market. We'll be fine though, most sides are reducing their squad sizes and there will be plenty of capable players available. Warburton has also proved himself to be pretty shrewd in the transfer market. As I said above though, I just wish he'd accept that more work needs to be done on the defensive side of our game. Maybe bring a defensive coach and do some work around defending set pieces etc. FFP seems to be only for those who think it's real. Everyone else is taking the piss. |

So looking at FFP as a three year rolling plan I think it’s ok to say “ if “ we do cash in on BOS and Eze this summer it would be in our favour for the owners to spend cash in improving the team within the next season or two...if they are serious about pushing us forward.
