Opens July 27 to Oct 16
So assuming season is up and running will be like old days for early part where season is live but people can buy still months into Season
Pros and cons to that. Obviously can lose players which messes up squad but equally might get some clubs panicking if they don’t get good start and paying over the odds

Would maybe be harder to loan players due to length of window.
Not good news for us.

It is all about the scouting and recruitment. Who was Neal maupay before he had a decent season for Brentford and was sold for 19 million. We cannot move forward as a club with loans season after season.

So may not be such a bad thing after all I’m in favour of purchasing young promising players but I’m also keen on loaning players with an option to buy. If the manager is not given funds to buy good proven players I just hope we don’t hamstring the club by offering three year contracts to free transfers like Todd Kane.

A player on loan in the French second division who´d made his debut playing for Nice when he was only sixteen and been in several France youth teams, when he was purchased by Brentford for a fee reported to be £1.6 million in 2017, after which he had one decent (2017-18) and one very good season (2018-19)? I get your point though, and fully agree. I am just not sure that we can afford to spend that kind of money on unknown quantities with our track record, but maybe Warburton is better connected in Europe than previous managers has been.

There’s hidden gems out there and we seriously need to up our game

We just need the wider QPR fanbase to stop jumping on the kids and calling them shit when they have an off game! We give no one time unless they hit the ground running. Be it new signings or youth.

But is that not the job of the D.O.F and other football people at the club to have the connections to help us find those gems. As for affording it no we cannot afford a 2.8 million punt on Washington on the say so of the D.O.F when we could be scouting Europe, Pukki at Norwich was a 400k buy for them and he has done ok even after an unsuccesful stint at Celtic

As a side note I found that Gary Penrice is now head of recruitment at Celtic.

Nothing against Sinton but surely a chief scout is priority?

That was certainly the case with Penrice. He was never a club employee.

All that handshaking is very important 73. add to that, if we did not have AmbassadorAndy, (from the north of england) we would have no one to commentate on the matches or to offer up a few tweets every day. Would love to know how much he is paid per year though. #losing1milpermonth #goldenhandshakes #criticalrole #nicetomeetyouandwelcometoqpr #payasyoushake #willshakeforawage

I've heard Andy Sinton does a lot of good work in his role particularly for fans who are not well and in hospital.

Time is a wonderful thing, but we've given the club decades of it and in the main they've given back fuck all.

Nothing against him or doubting what he does for the club and former players but would say a chief scout is essential if we are to move forward as a club.

Really idiotic comment. You should do a bit of research before making your mind up and slating people.
