So there is lots of debate about us undervaluing players when we sell them. We still have some decent players of potential value so thought it would be interesting to list some of the playing assets and for us as fans to give our own individual valuation so we can see where we’re pitching players values as individuals and compare to what club values at when they sell.
These are only few players but add your own in if you want for others to value
Lumley 1 or 2mil Manning 1 to 1.5mil BOS 6mil Chair 3mil Eze 12mil
Now this one is stab in dark based solely on potential and what we have seen since return but if someone enquires about Kakay I would say 2 to 3mil
Thoughts

Klopp talking about Robertson and TTA a few months ago "they may be good going forward but their first job is to defend" on that basis Manning is nowhere near some of the valuations I've seen on here.

In recruitment video Belkin said 28% decrease in transfer values due to covid ,which goes along with what MW has publicly stated.
Difficult to predict eventual valuations for next year transfer windows as all depends on how well players already here will gel with new incomings...if sold tomorrow then..
Lumley £1m to £2m Manning be well happy with £500k BOS £8m Eze £12m Chair£4m

Solid championship players should be going for around price I've listed. I know you boys ain't fond of him but we need let the stats speak for themselves to get us a good deal.

Manning be well happy with £500k I’m in same mind space Seen plenty of attacking stats for daisy chain..one stands out for me sixth worst in champ for dribbling past opponents at 0.06 would love to see some defensive stats or assists in goals conceded.

You lot let your like or dislike of player come into it too much.
Need look at situation - prem teams linked to him - statistically one of best attacking full backs in league
Club needs to work those to its advantage to get a good fee. Plenty other clubs would.

Left footers who create are very unpopular on this board. I remember a fella called Luke Freeman been almost as unpopular as our Ryan. Fair enough, he didn't make it in the prem but more than good enough for us. Nice 5.5 million profit too. Think Ollie made that deal....another popular fella.

2 caveats need to be factored in with the valuations in this thread:
1) The effect the pandemic has had on the market
2) The utterly atrocious form (of all the players listed above) since the league's restart.
Just saying.

I don't see form since restart coming into negotiations as most sensible clubs, agents etc will understand it's unusual circumstances

These are unusual times. You don't reduce a players value just because the rest of the team stopped performing. Negotiations will look at season as a whole and players individual performances.
You need factor in that majority of these players prolly expected to have moved on by now and just going through motions.

I'm not fond of any player that doesn't bust a gut for the team when caught on the counter or who fucks up then holds his hands out for the crowd to see as though it wasn't his fault. Sorry, that's unprofessional no matter how many crosses he puts in.
