Huddersfield sack Danny Cowley, Watford sack Nigel Pearson. Two very strange decisions imo.

Will Troy Deeney insist he is made manager? Maybe his partner can design the new Watford badge?

9 points from safety when Pearson took over and first team to beat the champions. Now that seems harsh unless big Nige has chinned or threatened someone!!

I thought similar, that maybe the players had expressed their dislike of him and he'd lost the dressing room or something. The bloke is a bit of a psycho.

I quite like him as he just says it as it is, Football is a shitshow nowadays because if those players have done that then they deserve qique flores back to get them relegated. Bloke has performed a miracle considering where they were when he took over.

My worry if he were in charge of us would be his temperament causing rifts in the squad and all that. We've had enough dressing room problems in the last decade to last a bleeding lifetime.

Agreed but there is a place in the modern game which is full of prima donna's for him as if nothing else he will keep them honest

Pearson had contract till end of season anyway. Reckon he had a ruck with one of the players hence they let him go early

According to newsnow Huddersfield have received two bids of £15m for Karlan Grant which may explain Crowley bros throwing toys out the pram.

Intsresting Sparx, Would take that all day long unless they have been told that they would be seeing none of it to replace him?

Pearson at Watford: 35% win ratio, ie higher than plenty of managers over the same time frame, difference being that they're still in a job. Easy to forget that it was Pearson who got Leicester on the road that would eventually take them all the way.
He was looking to come back when we appointed Warburton, but I couldn't imagine him working in our set up. He doesn't tolerate fools that easily.

He wouldn't be a good fit here at all under the current setup.

Watford love sacking a Manager, don't they?
You have to go back to Aidy Boothroyd who left the club in 2008 to find the last manager who lasted more than 100 games. In the last 10 years they've had 12 different Managers (not including Caretaker Managers).

Or watford owners admit a mistake or 3 and if not working not afraid to try and change it again.
