Honestly, I think the best policy is to work with the team that got you promoted. Bring in a few, but make sure they fit with the current wage structure at the club. The worst thing a promoted side can do is start bringing in big earners alongside guys that came up from the division below. More often than not you end up with a toxic dressing room. Those sort of changes need to be made gradually. |
