Wycombe ,Sheffield W ,Luton are the only teams on par with our current squad...all the other teams mentioned are ahead of us in the battle for survival this season.
Teams like Rotherham , Coventry and Barnsley could be surprise packages and are an example on where astute management and ambition may lead.

Defensively we will be in the bottom.4 or 5 so if we do not outscore teams then we are in for a long old season.

We are not going to our score teams right now, hence why I have personally been so vocal about my worries for the season. I do think after looking at the table that we have a better chance to stay up than I first feared due to there being 6/7/8 teams equally as bad as us currently. I think my frustrations are that we are only 4/5/6 players short from not only probably being a safe mid table club but also one that might surprise a few people.

Until we sort the defence out then mid table will feel like promotion. You cannot ignore defensive failings.

Think Wycombe will hit the ground running on the back of their promotion and team spirit.

Given our lack of squad depth and numbers, injuries and suspensions could affect us big time this season.

I say get rid of cards this season and opt for a 'Rollerball' format.

Unless we sort our goalkeeper and back four problems then i think we are going to be close enough to the bottom six. We aren't going to be as potent going forward as last season so MW has to get the backline performing far better than it has been. Tough few months ahead unless he can add to the squad

2 weeks before the window shuts. Last season we were being tipped for relegation by many. This season we've an even weaker squad, and might still lose BOS and Manning. Do the math. An understatement to say the next fortnight is pivotal. I'll reserve judgement til then.
