We always have sicknotes the bloke who went to Forest springs to mind. Go back a few years Steve Morrow Matthew Rose and another whos name escapes me a winger i think Jack Robinson, played in the Prem the other night for Sheffield United. |

You may be right mate but I never thought that Damien Delaney could play in premiership either. Ditto Jason Puncheon and Danny Simpson Both were premier league before we signed them |

Can't blame him for taking his chances on a free transfer in that case then mate. can’t imagine he Will get more money elsewhere then we offered him Can't blame him for wanting to have a look though, if we were only offering him reduced terms. With Hall's injury record this might be the last proper contract he gets. |

I expected Hall to sign a new contract with us but it seems he probably got a deal on table already. He played lb for us though, Think he was always in the centre for Palace.
Think Jack Rob is good enough for prem IF he can stay injury free and plays in the right set up. Don't think Hall is good enough though. Shame we couldn't agree a deal as think he is a good fit for us atm.

Make you right on Robinson..he didn’t look out of place last night against villa. Delaney looked a poor player with us too heavy to play LB..became a boo boy and was sold soon after signing. If I had to choose between Delaney or Hall about who was better qualified to play prem football then it would be Hall for me. |

I never had an issue with Delaney, always put a shift in. Never looked that comfortable at left back, clearly a centre half.

Got nothing against Hall but am not bothered about him going one bit. Hopefully frees up more than enough wages for a decent long term CB.

Thats the bloke hardly fit for us till last season and guess what fucks off to forest after laying on the treatment table getting good medical care. This is something that needs to be addressed in football aling with plenty of other crazy rules in this modern age!! |

All speculation at the end of the day mate. Nobody other than the club, the player and their agent will know for sure. I'd heard Hill was on about 10k and asked to take a fairly significant drop on that. Hence he left.
I think the only player left at the club on a salary that runs into 5 figures a week is Leistner, and I'd imagine we'll trying our best to get him off the books at the moment.

Think borough are on similar journey to us.
Three year contract decent for Hall offers some medium term stability. Might be costly got borough if he breaks down as we k ow he can
Good luck to him. Decent enough CB but I don’t fell like we’ve missed out
