Couldn’t wait to leave us. to be fair, I reckon most of us would be looking for a new job pretty sharpish if we were faced with a 40% pay reduction. Don't get the animosity myself. Decent servant, always gave his best. He's found a better deal for him and his family elsewhere. |

Look at Charlton with that Lyle Taylor downed tools a month before the end of hos contract due to risking his "dream move and big payday". Up till now he has not signed for anyone and the club who were paying him were relegated. |

Would you like to a.) sign on for another 6 weeks on 60% of your current package (earning you about 20 grand after tax basically), or b.) Get yourself home injury free and work on finding a better contract elsewhere? Given Grant Hall's injury record, I'd have made exactly the same decision as he did. |

But when restart happened there were three games In June which he was contracted for he should have been available for them then walked, if he had done that no issues. Hope we never paid him full month in June |

The bloke refused to play after the re start and they ended up being relegated and yet he was still paid by Charlton up to the 30th June.
