Think Erickson to Brentford is good for both sides.
Erickson gets back into the game at the highest level (well, the Prem, not Brentford obvs...)
Brentford get a great player (if he still is), true pro, and a great source of experience/motivation/inspiration for the whole squad.
6 month deal - minimal commitment all round.
A danger for Brentford is that he does absolutely brilliantly for them and gets snaffled up by a bigger side for nowt in the summer.

Eriksen wants to be ready for the World Cup. I think he chose Brentford because he wants to be certain of a starting place when ready. Thats not guaranteed at a higher profile club. |
