Maldini,Carlos and Barca left back. Maldini is a good shout but Carlos was more like a winger who could cover. Great shot on him though. Maldini was the left back I have seen and later turned into one of the best centre backs I have seen. Lizarazu in 98 was some left back as well. |

Spuds were pondering Kompany, but with QPR having stuffed Burnley at Turf Moor and smashed their unbeaten home record, Daniel Levy has concluded Ainsworth is the man for the job. He’ll pay QPR £15m compensation and we’ll reinstate Mick Beale who’ll be sacked by Rangers in the Summer, as long as promises not to tell fibs again. |

Personally I really enjoy watching football played to the very highest level. The City performance tonight is a case in point. I watched the whole game and boy oh boy they showed Arsenal who's boss. Football at this level is elevated to an art form. Watch the goals on MOTD. Incredible football.

City’s pace and movement when they strike is fantastic to watch. Amazing what Pep has done to Stones and Grealish - bog standard defender and show pony who should now walk into the England team for any game. Same as all top managers though, only works with a big budget. I’d love to see him at our place for a season to see what he could get out of our lot.
