I don’t think Man City gives a toss about re sale value.
That sort of thing is only valid for small clubs.
Winning the champions league along with merchandise will cover that easy.

Winning the champions league along with merchandise will cover that easy. to be fair to city they don't throw money about like other clubs. their recruitment is spot on, i think laporte is their record signing and he cost them what ... 55m? the signings they have made have been excellent imo. kompany was 10m, silva 20m, aguero 30m, de bruyne 30m etc and all have been bargains all things considered. |

City is perfect for Kane and vice versa. Their passing and movement will make plenty of chances for him and his passing and awareness will add another dimension to their attacking. He’s the option they haven’t got. Keep him fit though.

I can't see Levy accepting 100m. Personally I think it's ridiculous money for a player that will have a much lower resale value after 2 or 3 years service. Better to try and sign someone like Haaland or Mbappe. Would anyone of that quality really join Spurs? |

I thought Man Utd might have a look at him, but they've dropped 115m quid on 2 players already this window. I suppose if Pogba goes they might have a bit more to spend, but I'd be surprised if they make 3 big acquisitions with no departures this window. Aside from those 2, I don't suppose any other Prem teams can afford him. |
