Hello, I got interested in something else for a bit there. I was getting into a Reddit group on Silver Glad you’re back to focus on the QPR bandwagon. I’ll still be keeping an eye on silver and the Reddit group, should be lots of interesting stuff happening there in the coming months. Got the Euros to look forward too on the football front as the season comes to an end. Took holidays from work to watch it and get my roof retiled at the same time. Glad to see QPR doing well though, hopefully they can keep this form going into next season 👍

Assists for both goals yesterday. The second in particular was an absolutely brilliant first time reverse cross on the turn - the only way it could have been any better was if he’d rabona’d it!

this is the lyndon we wanted to see. he's not just scoring lucky goals either as he's contributing to the team and leading the line.
looks full of confidence now and is actively trying to score. really pleased for him and hope he can kick on next season

7 goals in 8 games and he will only get better next season.

He’s in the right place now. Yesterday’s goal is example, few months back no way would he have been back post waiting for that simple tap in.

Plays with a proper striker and suddenly starts to look like one himself. Has been asked by me and others before, was it too much to get Les in a tracksuit and help him? That clearly didn’t happen. It’s like we only brought him in in Jan too.

Al how do we know it’s not been Partly Les and it’s just coming together now? Truth is we don’t know
Plus think your over egging the pudding saying he has been good since jan to sell a view it’s down to Austin. He has really only picked up form since March and goal against Reading
Perhaps after 7+ months he’s simply started to find his feet and work out how we play
Also what is himself?? Have you followed his career in Scotland and before to know what that is?

It’s like we only brought him in in Jan too. I think it had as much to do with the crisis of confidence he found himself in, as all strikers live off goals. I commented at the time he just needed one to go in for the floodgates to open, which has what's happened. The ability was always there but the confidence was on the floor, and without that you're nothing, particularly for a striker. Some credit should also go to Marbs there for keeping faith in him whilst so many were calling for both their heads. So he must have seen it all along and had experience of it. It became a classic vicious cycle with him. The longer he went without a goal, the more his confidence ebbed away, and the worse his overall game became.

knew he was just gonna smash the spot kick down the middle yesterday. keeper read it. It was largely down to Krul unnerving him in the build up, you could tell. Dutch master of dark arts dating back to his shoot out antics in the 2014 World Cup.

Not a fan of pens down middle. Puts the chances of a save more on keepers side. Pick a corner a nail it if he saves it fair enough.
Down the middle is just playing safe

Think Dykes deserves a special mention for that superb assist for our second goal.
Our second highest scorer (after Dickie) has come in for undue criticism this season in my humble opining.
