If the 250k is true, then that’s a shocking a deal.
Would of been better keeping him as a squad player in case we had any serious injuries, considering the lad was only 5/6k per week as well.
I really hope the figure isn’t true!

He’s got a good agent who has dropped stories to the media bigging him up and the fans naively bought into his game. His agent has driven links to other clubs and transfer fees. He was apparently going palace last window, West Ham this one then linked with Blackburn before eventually going Swansea. If the price was £250k and prem clubs seriously wanted him do you not think he would be at one of the two mentioned if that was the price??

Not sure the 250k figure is accurate. Maybe thats all we got up front, but the total deal value with add ons etc. is way higher.

I think what they said is the initial fee was 250k (which maybe it was). The point is there were further add ons and sell ons on top of that number. The total deal value I'm sure was much higher. |
