I said at the weekend Warbs is going to cause his own problems because he’s so stubborn.
We have decent players who can change a game and he just needs to play them in the right positions.
Chair has been in effective all season yet he insists on playing him.
It would also be nice to think MW could mix up and change the formation around if things aren’t working.
I for one would personally love to see 3 5 2 and get dykes and Bonne up top together with two wingers whipping the ball in.

Given the squad you could set up a decent unit out of that lot for this level, but it necessitates ditching his fave set up.

To play devil's advocate, I can imagine Warbs counter-arguing that, with Dykes missing, there was no point playing out and out wingers. Carroll for eg was playing LM, not LW. And he at least shifted Chair inside where he's more effective. Getting crosses in was never going to be an option tonight which I think he realised. Where it failed was the lack of support for Bonne and I hope he would at least hold his hands up to that. The defensive blunders that cost us the game he can't really be blamed for. Just Wallace fucking up there.
