Good that MW sees Thomas as filling the CAM position vacated by Amos. That's Bettache's position too. This has been our weakest area this season and explains why the goals supply line has dried up. Expect to see Chair there until Thomas is fit again.

I'd be tempted to drop Bonne to the bench and play Willock off Dykes for this one with Adomah and BOS on the wings and probably Ball and Carroll deeper in the midfield.

This is a big match and we can’t afford to lose to Barnsley right now, especially after the Coventry result and two very disappointing results against Preston and Birmingham.
MW is under pressure and lose to Barnsley then serious questions need to be asked.
Time to play Willock from the start and rest Chair imo. Willock looks a lot more creative and direct and I personally believe he could help with our inability to creat chances.
I personally didn’t like our 4 1 3 2 formation especially with Cameron being five the sole responsibility of being a CDM on his own at his age.
I’d go with the following -
Dieng
Kakay Dickie Babet Niko
Ball Carroll
BOS Willock Adomah
Dykes
I think Carroll is a tidy passer and if he was feeding balls through the three behind Dykes whilst Ball does the donkey work I would like to think those three could be a handful for the Barnsley team and get some crosses into Dykes.

Matt Webb has improved too. I still think more specific questions would be welcome. Thank god everyone kept banging on about the defending, seems like the penny finally dropped.
Also encouraging to hear Warbs recognise more intensity needed moving forward.

Think we are weak at full back both sides but
hope Niko and Kakay kick on.
We now seem to have a problem up front.Think the ball has to be moved much quicker and forward early crosses would be real change.Think Bos and Adomah have to start to feed Dykes so we can see what potential he has.
Plus point we seem to have found a keeper at last.
Still dont rate Carroll and Cameron is to slow.
Need to get a point at least v Barnsley,a win would be excellent but I have my doubts

We are only Two games into a hectic fixture schedule since returning from an international break.
Getting fed up of listening to pre match excuses about lack of preparation time ,travel and the demands it puts on the players in only our first away game since returning.
Other teams are coping with similar size squads and players natural ability.
I’m more concerned in his interview after Saturdays game he did not know why we were so ineffective in the first half..
Would agree with Maidstone Hoop if we lose against Barnsley then MW position of manager needs to be re-evaluated.
Oops forgot about Bournemouth game.
just wish he sound more positive before games..let them worry about us not the other way around Mark !

must win game. not in a doom and gloom way but we need to start picking up wins. it won't bode well for warbs if he fails to beat barnsley given the amount of backing in the market he had.
looking forward to seeing niko at FB, he has a real chance to stake a claim now. wouldn't mind seeing masterson lining up alongside dickie either
