Would be great news if we signed him to another 2/3 year deal as he’s class at champ level and hopefully we’d look to sell him in jan or next year for more than 5 mill!

I'm with hits on this one. If he was going to sign a contract with us he would have done so already. I'd rather we cashed in now but there's zero interest apart from Brugge. He will go on a free next summer as it stands but that's no skin off his nose is it?

To be fair the lads only testing the waters and has every right to see who comes in for him.
It doesn’t mean he’s the wrong type or a bad egg purely because he’s holding out for the best move possible.
This is a big move for him and he has every right to take his time. If for some reason he doesn’t move on and we can agree a new contract are we as QPR fans really going to be annoyed that we are keeping a class player at our club?

clearly this lad is getting a bit to big for his boots. turned down a champions league club because they would not offer 40k per week wages. no prem club are showing any interest so he is running back with his tail between his legs.... If his plan is to run down his contract and leave on a free next summer, i would let him rot in the reserves. #notrightsort fark him. just spoke with someone involved with him and they basically said the same Hits Hopefully he does sign if it’s only to ensure we get something but seeing what his job appears to be made of I would rather get shot for 4/5mil and get him off books now then get nothing in a year Not sure we can blame club if this one goes wonky

There’s not much risk for him in signing a new contract, unless he really wants to leave on a free. Can always have a clause in there regarding transfer fee etc. I’d welcome him extending his contract really.

Maybe another reason why he looks set to sign a new and better deal is that we have signed or are close to sign players who will make us a very interesting project. Just a thought.

I'd be surprised if there was zero interest in him.

I've got a nasty feeling he's trying to run his contract down and move on a free next summer.

I've got a nasty feeling he's trying to run his contract down and move on a free next summer. By which time his purple patch my be over and he'll have dropped a massive bollock. It's been said by many he's an in and out player who has made huge progress but there's no evidence so far that it's permanent. Could well be that he needs a move to go forward with his game again.

Sign him up and send him to Norway. North of the Arctic circle, preferably.. Tromsø or Bodø Glimt.

Argued with a few fans over exactly this point mate. He's actually only had 7 or 8 months of genuine form. Wasn't even in the starting line up at the start of the season. Now he's knocking back contract offers from Champions League sides? As you say, he may live to regret that. Either way, I really hope he doesn't end up walking for nothing. We really need to get money in for our better players if they don't want to sign a contract.

I really hope that we bring in a player who is able to play in his position. Rather sooner than later. I wouldn`t like to us be dependant on him.

We really need to get money in for our better players if they don't want to sign a contract. I still think that both him and Eze would actually benefit from another season with us. Neither are anywhere near consistent enough, despite their obvious abilities, to warrant regular starts in the PL. Another season of learning a bit more about other aspects, would not only make them better, more confident players, but would increase their chances of making an impact when they do get the opportunity. And lets face it, if they can perform as we hope they can for us and we can sort out our defensive issues and add a couple of competent strikers, then there’s every chance they wouldn’t need to move to prove it, so everyone wins. Would need both of them to have the right attitude though.

A Norwegian player who recently turned down Brugge scored again today. Instead of going after the money he wanted to stay in Norway and develop further at his club Bodø-Glimt. His name is Jens Petter Hauge and very, very similar to Bos in style of play..just saying:)
