Kane is so poor. His passing leaves a lot to be desired still... Kane has improved a lot recently IMO. Better suited to WB role. As DK says, crosses better when having less time to think. We have no penetration down the middle. We were always going to miss Carroll, but a very promising debut from Johansen. Willock who's usually a winger is being employed well centrally now and did great when he came on tonight. Noticed Marbs and Charlie getting stuck into him at the end over that mysterious extra 5 minutes. Good for them.

Who will play upfront on Saturday as Bonne injured and Dykes isolating ? Hopefully Bonne will be fit, looked like cramp and was subbed as a precaution. I’m sure we’ll find out tomorrow if he’s picked up an injury

Who will play upfront on Saturday as Bonne injured and Dykes isolating ? Bonne didn’t look injured. Pulled up with cramp but walked off and ran about fine after that

Thankfully, the same goes to the rest of the team actually!

Kane doesn`t hide after a bad pass Lad would need to leave the pitch if he did

Dieng, Dickie, Barbet, Wallace, Kane, Johansen, Austin, Willock, Uncle Albert, Thomas - all excellent tonight.
When you have that many players in the side having good games then we're a match for anyone in this division, as proved tonight.
All the subs played huge roles tonight, so kudos to Marbs for that.
Mark Warburton's blue and white army, dare we sing it?!?! LOL

Think Kane and Dickie look good on the right, they have a good understanding with each other.

Didn't see the game, but sounds like we deserved that! Caught the goals on Twitter - both good work out wide and brilliantly taken. Well done lads.

He does make some nice runs out of defence carrying the ball though, since moving to a back 3. It seems to bring the best out of him, allows him to push forward on occasion. He is still young though, still learning his trade.

Seeing that team selection made my mind up as to my evening plans. It certainly isn't watching the game. Ginger Ninja look what you missed! Aye, I did say so at full time mate 🤣

Willock was paramount in both those goals hits Always thought he was the one recent incomer who could find a bit of space in front of him. Player.
The other related thing I'm liking is that transitions have finally speeded up. Top prem teams are having it box to box in four passes (as Eddie Howe pointed out at the weekend), you have to mix and match these days.

Willock has produced some good moments from the bench. To be honest I’m not sure the formation QPR play suits him, the only obvious position he could play would be Chairs and it looks like MW prefers Chair ahead of him. And even then I’m not so sure playing through the middle is where he wants to be. He’s probably best suited at the right side of a front 3 in a 4-3-3 or as a right-sided attacking midfielder in the 3 of a 4-2-3-1

We’ve got some player in Dickie in my view. I thought Ball did well tonight. Not a standout like others that have been mentioned but we’re a better side with him in it.

Brilliant performance. I think everyone played well but I thought the class of Johansen shone through, very good player. We looked solid and we were only really under pressure for short periods of time, so to not be dominated by a team with an amazing home record is brilliant.
We play the same tactics home and away, yet we are better away. Bigger pitches suit us? I always thought it was the other way around!

Hadn't realised that Watford (before last night) had the best home record in all divisions. This from the Watford offish: "You expected the team with the best home record in the country to manage the game thereafter [having gone 1-0 up] against a side who hadn’t recorded a win against a team in the top six this season."Sweet.

I think the home form will pick up, the team really missed Carroll last home game, team looked imbalanced and disjointed to an extent. I still thought QPR were good for a point in saying that. But with the addition of Johansen and now Fields I don’t think the squad will get caught short again in centre midfield. They do need Jordy to get on the bench soon as cover at the back though.
