Little bit disappointed with that. Reasonable first 25/30mins then they took over
Still in it at half time. Look really weak in middle of the park really stands out just the influence Carroll has when he’s not actually playing
Nothing really created. Kane can’t cross and Hammer gives me kittens defending

1st half summary:
Carroll's absence is very telling this half. Shows how much we're missing him. No one else in the squad can do that job.
Our WB's have done nothing and as a result Austin and Dykes have been starved of service.
We should be 1-0 up though as the ref missed a clear hand ball from Morrison.
World class save from Dieng has kept us in it too.

Not someone like Chair who likes to get in behind the strikers and run with the ball at his feet. Someone who wants to sit in the middle of the park, spray the ball around and dictate play. Carroll should be good enough to do it, but he just can't piece it all together! |

boring first half all in all. no one has really stood out for us aside from diengs saves. niko isn't a LWB. charlie looks a cut above the rest.
have to do better with ralls and vaulks along with morrison on set pieces though
