Does show that our poor form in 2020 was probably more down to poor players than the manager. I would suggest that the formation has played a part as well? Kane and Wallace have been involved in some of the goals in recent games. No doubt that the loan players have made a huge difference Yes you’re right about the formation. Whilst Kane and Wallace are no superstars, they are big step up on the other 2. |

My brother in law is a Spurs fan but pre lockdown started to take his son to the odd Brentford game. Not surprising as he’s a tight cunt and the tickets are obviously cheaper. I remember a conversation I had with him after a few beers one evening after he started getting on my wick.

We were winning by that stage so just needed his pace to stop their threat down the right. Kane was still getting forward on the other side so we didn't need to change the formation. When someone offers an opinion that is realistic,the comment"want us to lose"is so stupid.
Obviously done to wind people up and this is not pointed at Ginger as we have a good understanding of each other,but is somewhat childish to supporters of some years that have many experiences of us flattering to deceive.
Ok we beat Brentford but I can remember when beating them was a given.
I can also remember great times,with my whole family at Wembley ,Zamora 1967 Rodders,promotion 67,promotion Villa park6 68,promotion Warnock,promotion Venables, Holloway promotion and enjoyed them all.
Also I can remember going liverpool home and away 86 then getting beat by Oxford,Aston Villa semi final at Highbury smashed 3-0,and the biggest heartache 1976 fucking carrot crunchers.
So as one of the elder posters I hope you can understand the standpoint of some of us who are not easily convinced by a bit of form.
After all it was not long ago most were calling for MW to go

I was the one that told Warburton where he was going wrong,i tend to remain conservative as its a game that can change overnight.
I could tell you the team for Saturday but i dont want to upset Hits and a few others.
I cant guarantee how long he will accept my advice but long may it continue whilst he is in the job.
