Walsh looked good I thought. Good backup keeper for sure. Bettache really impressed. Even Dom Ball had a good game. Great goals from Charlie and Dykes and assists from Wallace. I could go on! |

I meant about the season. With a result like this it's easy to go mad about getting promoted and all that, but ultimately friendly results mean nothing. Performance being great is massive, and no injuries is great too. |

it was a great result for us. fair enough utd started with only 6 prem calibre players but those players were all internationals, barring williams. we dominated every aspect of the game imo and contained their best players.
as for them finishing the game with young and inexperienced players you could argue that we did the same, kind of. utd has one of the best academies in the world so its hardly like they subbed on sunday league players in the second half lol. the standard of their youth team to ours is night and day.
its a result that the team can surely be proud of and imo shouldn't be watered down.

Adding up the ages of our final 11 players, came to 249, which gives an average of 22.6. That´s pretty impressive considering one of them was Uncle Albert They may have had kids on display, but we still beat them with our kids |

United brought abought 1800 to 2000 ,so the crowd looked to me about 11000 , a very good turn out , for a very good performance , just the way we are playing is a godsend ! Neat passing football , it might not always work but give me that over the shit we have had to endure under Redknap, Hughea and Hasslebank, so happy with QPR right now !
