I have no issues. with Kakay getting a long deal. He's on peanuts and he knows his job, which is defensive cover.
Niko, well he never kicked on. Looked a decent prospect when he was coming through.
Tough balance though. I mean, how irate would us fans be if our next decent player to come through the ranks left on the cheap cos we hadn't tied them down? I've heard fans saying we should give Armstrong a 5 year deal, despite the fact he's yet to kick a ball in the Championship.

Calm down Jimbo, loads of time left in the window. Actually agree with Jimbo Tarbs that is a horror story with those two waiting to happen These two are to cover injuries only if we start with them we are farked mate

New Manager has been in the job a day mate. Why on earth are we concerned about the fact we need a handful of new players?
People on here last week were whinging we were trying to sign players before the new Manager was in place. What do we expect? 6 or 7 new signings 5 minutes after the new Manager is announced?
Once again, the club can't win. People will always find something to complain about.

It’s not a concern that we don’t have time, more does the club philosophy mean backing players like these 2? Kakay can do a job but Nico? He just seems way off championship standard. First job of defender is to defend.

Not concerned at all mate just saying They are not good enough to start I'd have my mortgage on neither being under consideration for anything more than a supporting role in the squad. I actually expect Niko to leave, possibly on loan as we gave him a contract that not many will want to match. Bit of patience is what's required here.

Off to West Brom as defensive cover apparently. Good luck to him. Probably a decent move for all parties. I'd have not minded if he'd stayed here as defensive cover, but I'm sure he'll get a better deal up there.
Hopefully we've got something up our sleeve for the full back positions. Probably need 3 of them given Wallace, Moses and McCallum have all gone.

It's obvious replacements will be worse.

Moses to wba not done yet Tarbs We have an option on him if we want it I know we have "an option" mate, but it's rarely that cut and dry. They are normally based on a minimum amount of appearances, and if that hasn't been triggered he can probably walk just as easy as we can choose not to extend. If Moses would rather be at West Brom, I'd imagine he'll be signing there as a free agent.

Really liked him going forward. Not the worst defender either when he was happy to just tackle not assault someone.

wasn't totally sold on him as our starting RB but would have liked to have kept him due to hs versatility on both flanks and experience.
certainly need a new RB now

I imagine his wages were relatively high and for someone who misses more than he plays, that was probably a factor.
I liked him though, think he would suit how Beale wants our FB to play
