dozzell is the future of our CM imo and needs to be playing alongside johansen as much as possible. obviously amos or field alongside stefan would balance the side more but stefan is good enough and experienced enough to sit deeper to allow dozzell the freedom to push higher.

ipswich fans were saying that dozzell has a very good pass on him (which i think we've seen examples of already) but also that he's a player that will do well if he pushes further forward and has better players round him to help him develop and play to his strengths.

i think dozzell has looked ok so far but i've noticed too many backwards and sideways passes from him which is something that needs to be ironed out imo.

i think him alongside stefan vs hull would work out well. i can understand why we played ball against millwall as he's our go to guy when playing against "men's" teams lol

we’re better when we attack, we just get deeper and deeper when we don’t. Can’t be too gung-ho, get that, but definitely a better side taking to to them.

It's amazing how varied opinions can be, I thought that him playing passes to slow down the match or to simply retain possession was something we should encourage him to do.

its mainly a concern that i saw many ipswich fans bringing up in regards to his playstyle and something that limited him. they all thought he was a player with genuine potential and the talent to go far but in the same breath they also weren't sad to see him go.

they were saying that he'd overstayed his welcome at ipswich and had gone as far as he could go with them but under better management and in the right system they thought he'd flourish. he does seem to have a wicked pass on him, i can recall a few crossfield passes he did in preseason that were very impressive and imo thats what we should be aiming to get from him. we don't need someone to spray the ball backwards and need dozzell to be our playmaker imo.

i like what i've seen from him and have full faith in our coaches to get the best out of him for sure. just look at how much the likes of willock has improved with us as an indicator to what the club can do with these types of diamonds in the rough players.

Dozzell was played in the wrong position at Ipswich is what I have read on their forums.
