Yeah, shame he's not 25 anymore 😎 I actually think he could be a very effective 30 minute player. Bring him on at around 60 mins in and he'll cause problems. Expensive 30 minute player to be fair. From what I've heard, we've tore up the wage structure to land him and Stefan. But I reckon he's more useful as an impact sub than a starter these days myself. |

However the mistake was starting with Ball, which I hope Warburton has finally learnt from. That’s what fucked our midfield and what caused us to lose control of the game. Just look how much they dominated us first half until Ball got hooked. It was men against boys. We were right back in the game at 1-1 until the defence fucked up again. Mitrovic was the main difference between the sides. He’s a class above |

West summed it up here: Control the midfield, control the game, that’s what I was taught as a kid Second best middle of park We need Field and Amos back pronto. (Even Duke-McKenna impressed vs Everton) Part of the reason for the defensive collapse was our inability to control and retain possession in midfield, particularly after losing McCallum. When Ball (on a yellow after 5 mins!) went off for Dykes I was thinking fuck, that's made our midfield even weaker. Risky move which paid off with an equaliser but ultimately cost us the match. McCallum wasn't match fit though, so you really needed Amos to come on. |

He’s a class above Do not agree about Mitrovic yes he scored 2 but look at the shambolic and pitiful defending for both his goals, Dickie too weak and wrong side for the first and Moses nor closing down and stopping the cross which is a basic ask for a defender. Yes he took them well but was helped greatly by those two clowns yesterday. That right hand side is much more a problem than Dom Ball and it is not just yesterday. |

Lose control of that area and any defence will be rendered vulnerable and exposed. Johansen is not a defensive midfielder, yet he played there for the entire 2nd half with little to no help. That's where Fulham capitalised. |

Ball is in because Field is injured those two are first choice which is so worrying. Watch Moses for the second and that sums it up well. |
