I’d go with:
Archer Moses, Kakay, Dunne, Barbet, McCallum Dozzell, Ball Albert, Thomas Kelman

Would like to see Sinclair Armstrong get a decent run out if/when we've clearly won.
I'm not 100% sold on him from the few matches I've seen him in but there's definitely something there.

With injuries, illness, suspensions and fatigue all building up, I'd suggest a 2nd XI, including Sir Les up front and Jude the Cat at centre back.

Wholesale changes please. We've started to see just how thin the squad is after a couple of injuries, we don't need any more.

Wholesale changes please. We've started to see just how thin the squad is after a couple of injuries, we don't need any more. It's a tricky one. A cup run would boost the coffers and install incredible confidence within the squad, especially if we beat a Premier League side. We could also draw Man Utd away in the next round and although we'd probably lose the gate receipts are phenomenal and it'll be on TV too. However, we have the best chance we've had for a while of getting promoted this season and that must take priority.

You go into every competitive game with a winning mentality, expecting to win, particularly at home, under the lights and against a team in the division below you. That's not to say you play your strongest side, as that would be foolish in the present circumstances. IOW, as the saying goes, it's entirely possible to hold two competing thoughts in your head at the same time

We'd be daft to field anything like a full strength team looking at our mounting injury problems.

Two week break after Coventry so not sure if that will affect Warbs decision to risk a few regulars, for some of the game at least.

My guess is Warbs will start 3 or 4 and have a similar number on the bench for Oxford. Thomas and Dozzell straight back to keep their spirits up and get match fitness. Macallum, Dunne and Kelman - and some of the youngsters on display at the Man U friendly looked like they could do a reasonable job.

I think we have to play 2 centre backs, Dunne and Kakay. Dickie needs a rest I think.

is joe gubbins still with us or is he out on loan? could be in for a start maybe!
otherwise i'd like to see...
walsh kakay gubbins dunne barbet mccalum dozzel ball thomas chair/willock kelman
have some regulars on the bench obviously but we shouldn't be going for a strong side as we have injuries and coventry is more of a priority.
is moses banned for cup games?

I think we will have to rest players, but we still need 4 or so regulars in, to keep consistency.
I don't know what our youth and/or B team are working with, but I think Odebajo needs a rest. He has a lot of injuries and he's our only good RB. Kakay should play (league 1 is his level so should be okay playing rb). Not sure what defence we have. Dunne and Barbet should start (Barbet is a machine) so room for 1 more CB (unless theres a RWB in the reserves that could come in and drop Kakay back).
I think mid will have Dozzell, Thomas and probably Chair in there. Could add in Adomah.
Up top id be surprised if Kelman doesn't get his chance but then we must play it on the deck. Oxford play it on the deck so it might be okay in that respect.

Not a very good option. Kakay is shit at CB, and not even very good as RB in a 4, IMO. Only makes sense as RWB.

Looks like De Wijs is possibility for Coventry which is good news. Desperately need McCallum to be ready.

Only makes sense as RWB. tbh i've actually prefered kakay in a back 3 haha. don't rate him at all though which is a shame as he's from our academy and has had some good games for us. just doesn't look good enough at all sadly
