complaints@qpr.co.uk for complaints. absolute shitshow! 😂😂😂😂if that is right that is appalling marketing - and as much as anything else bears out Tarbs opinion of the running of the club away from the playing side.

If they’ve sold out our usual stand at Reading I don’t see how they can extend it as you are penned in on both sides by their lot….?

Yeah, the more I read, the less hopeful I am of any additional tickets coming our way.

There won't be additional seats, 100%.
Seen a few things about QPR taking over a different block, unofficially, on facebook and stuff. G4 and G5. Anyone heard or thought about going in there?

Wow I must have just got very lucky yesterday. Saw that they’d gone on sale by chance and called the box office, stayed on hold for over 45 minutes without being cut off which is a first and got 4. The club really do need to get this sorted out because it’s fucking embarrassing

there's still some family tickets on sale btw, so if anyone here planned on going to the match with their kid then you can still get ahold of a ticket as its 1+1 adult and kid sorta thing.
as of 2 hours ago there were 75 tickets left in that category
only issue is you have to ring the box office

Doesn't wash for me. We are unbeaten, 3rd in the league and Reading away has come up on a Saturday afternoon with only a small ticket allocation. It was always going to sell out very quickly. Total lack of foresight to release the tickets straight to general sale like that.

This thread needs copying to the club. They should be making it as easy and as transparent as possible for their supporters to follow the team….and not ripping them off with booking fees either. Done. I'll post any response back here. Wow, fast work Lee! Cheers 🍺

Been in a lot of meetings with Hoos over the years and have always got on well tbf, so it’s good we at least have his ear. And to his credit he’s always keen to listen about any fans gripes.

Thank you for your email and sending over the forum.
I’d like to extend my apologies for the frustration you and others on the forum experienced when booking tickets for the Reading fixture.
The club last night released a statement explaining the reasoning behind putting the tickets straight on general sale. This was a mistake, and we apologise to those who were unsuccessful in getting tickets. The demand for tickets was under-estimated, and all future away tickets will now be sold with an initial loyalty points window.
You can find the statement, as well as a message from Lee Hoos, here: www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/reading-tickets-statement/.
Many thanks."

Tbf, they have changed the policy moving forward. Reading won't give more tickets so QPR are pretty limited to what they can do, other than apologise.

I'd say what they probably need to do is have a good look at ticketing as a whole and look for areas of potential improvement. It's not like this has been the only issue this season from a ticketing perspective. This new automated system is an utter shambles too.
