Telling you now, we'd have won that 3 or 4-2 if their keeper hadn't played an absolute blinder. We were great second half.

Kakay not perfect but better in that role then Ball. Moses when he beds in will be solid enough Do not turn into tarbolloway I don't like the look of Moses myself mate. Looks like a ticking bomb to me. I think he will come good. Needs games

Would be a lot easier if we didn't give a two nil lead in each game probably

Another nite we'd have nicked a point , their keeper played like shilton. I struggle with our tactics overplaying at the back . Mix it up a bit , were to predictable , move the ball forward at pace pick up the tempo . Keep hitting Albert and willock and get the ball in the box .

Just seen on social media that Charlie Austin's had a family bereavement, probably explains why he was missing.

Bournemouth stopped us playing the way we want, did their homework, did their job. We weren’t on our game at the back but we don’t try anything different. Has been said Stefan was too deep and Ball anonymous. Stefan had to drop deeper to get the ball and Bournemouth kept the game wide. I’m no fan but Parker got it sorted after first 15.

Yes, Dickie made a mistake but it was in 12 minutes, more than enough time for the team to pull it back. Giving the second away was criminal though and that's what hurt us. We will give away the odd goal from coming out of defence and I think it was clear to see it dented his confidence. Began to come back in the second half though and when he drives forwards it makes a big difference.
The RB position is a problem. Kakay isn't good enough and I don't think Adomah can do it for 90 minutes. Not sure what other options we have though.
I think it's vitally important now that we beat Bristol City. Otherwise, if we lose then it's 1 point from 9 and suddenly our good start isn't so good anymore.

Not sure what other options we have though. Moses not even on the bench last night. Assume injured. If the choice is him or Kakay you have to go with Moses. The fact that Albert can't be played from the start is a concern though.

Yeah of course, Moses all day long. But he has had injury problems so he probably can't do every game either.
Needs to be someone who can get up and down but love a challenge, and be good on the ball. Would Amos be a good fit there? Probably lacks a bit of pace though.

I don't see why Albert can't play 90 , I did Sunday and I'm 25 years older than him

Tbf he can do 90 minutes, but he is a winger. Can he be expected to be defensively sound for 90 minutes against a Championship team? It's a bit different coming on when chasing the game as we are going for it anyway.

I think Albert’s impact when he comes on is brilliant. Why change that by starting him? We just need a decent right wing back!

Moses Adubajo is very good when at his best. He just need to improve his composure a bit.

I think Albert’s impact when he comes on is brilliant. Why change that by starting him? We just need a decent right wing back! My thoughts too mate. McCallum showed last night that he's good enough, and hopefully Wallace comes back from the hamstring injury soon enough (although I do have my doubts with regards to his injury record). RWB however remains a concern for me. I'm happy with either Moses or Kakay as back-up, but neither are genuine top half Championship players for me. If there is money to spend in the summer I'd be looking at brining in a Wing Back or 2 if I was Warburton. Could be the difference between going up or not.

We just need a decent right wing back! how do we know that he wouldn't be great when he starts though? most subs force their way into the starting 11 due to their impact off the bench as they have to earn that spot. adomah has been nothing short of brilliant in the 2 league games he's played and played a key role in both. he deserves to start against bristol imo.

Has he genuinely been playing RWB though? Seems to me he comes on when we are ready to throw caution to the wind and sacrifice our shape a bit. You also have to go back to 2018/19 for the last time Adomah was a regular starter. To chuck him in as a wing back, possibly the most demanding role on the pitch in terms of cardio would be questionable in my opinion. All that being said, I wouldn't complain too much if we tried it in light of a lack of other decent options.

Agree Tarbs. He’s coming to the end of his career and no point running him into the ground when he has an important role to come on and make a difference. Needs to be used wisely.

Odubajo and Kakay both need working on for different reasons but that’s what the training ground is for. Odubajo against Man Reds was brilliant so it’s in there somewhere.

Odubajo against Man Reds was brilliant so it’s in there somewhere. His main weakness is concentration lapses IMO. Nothing tactical. Just switches off at vital times; loses his man then 'BANG' they score. Can't afford that at this level.

Well he wasn’t great when he started last season or the 1 game this season. When he arrived I thought it was his pace and skill that we’d notice most but for me it’s his crossing and passing that is probably the best we have. When he comes on in 2nd half, he has more space and so does everyone else meaning that he can influence game more in those 30 minutes than he would in first 45. We just need a right wing back that doesn’t switch off. We’ve sorted left wing back issue. Not to be too harsh (as he’s a step Up from Niko) but I don’t think that person is Kakay.
