Yes they did look tired but it's the same for everyone. Is our squad size below average?

Have we overhyped ourselves? Are our expectations too unrealistic? Are we guilty of thinking we better than 90% of teams?

I dont think we are overated
But we need to understand the value
Of willock and chair to our team
Without them playing or on the boil
We are very average

We really miss Field and Wallace, but why oh why - why not try to regroup and try to defend the point. Peterboro are not that bad based on how they played midweek. I'd have probably decided a point will do and shut up shop towards the end myself. But that's not Warburton's style.

I hope he will be able to broaden his repertoire a bit in that respect, because I bet quite close to everyone who saw the watch saw what was coming...

Tired by October? Must be something seriously wrong with training regime then, seasons have lasted until May for years. We weren’t tired, we were shit today. Never took control of the game, awful crossing, lack of movement. Missed Willock.

Peterborough are completely shit, that’s why they were like number 118 in our division before today. That we managed to lose is just typical QPR, you get used to it and laugh after like 40 odd years supporting them.

Pal says we've conceded more goals than the bottom three. Can defend without fullbacks.

Why not mix the passing game up with playing some long balls to Dykes who then flicks it on to Andre Gray or the midfielders? Is that really rocket science?

Peterborough fan review of the game.
Siriki Dembele 91st minute winner , that's what Saturday's are made for !
Get in , was nice to watch two teams trying to play football rather than the physical / long throw in b*llocks that is The Championship .
I can imagine QPR fans will feel aggrieved not to come away with something , they had our number from around 30 minutes onwards & were the better team 1st half though we had a goal from a corner ruled out would like to see why .
2nd half it looked like they scored direct from a corner , see Quest tomorrow then we scored a great team goal with 19 year old Harrison Burrows netting .
For the next 30 mins QPR were camped in our half , but can't cross for toffee & our 18 year old England Under 19 defender Ronnie Edwards was dealing with Scotland's number 9 & Charlie Austin , there number 10 Ilias Chair has lots of silky skills but not a lot of end product , maybe Isla St Clair would have been more of a threat .
Last 10 mins Posh just bossed it playing fast counter attacking football , QPR's naive high defensive line was for the taking , missed two 1 on 1's then up popped Dembele with the winner , London Road erupted .
2 wins on the spin , bonus , extra couple of beers in the fridge tonight , Up The Posh

we need to understand the value of willock Willock being rested and us losing to Peterborough (of all teams) was no coincidence imo. Slightly complacent to think you can rest one of your best players and still expect to win away. Add to that our utterly crap crossing (esp 1st half) when you have two capable strikers in the box who know where the net is, and just need the right delivery. Take the above into account and you deserve to lose. Manager and the players need to learn from that and fast if they genuinely want to challenge for promotion. We started the season really well (unbeaten first 6 games), but since mid sept we've blown hot and cold.

Willock and Chair will probably need a rest from time from time, hence we certainly need to learn how to win without both of them on the pitch. A fit enough Amos would probably have been the natural replacement for Willock today. Or to a lesser extent Duke-McKenna or Dozzell for that matter.

Pre-season hasn't been a mere running for 30 years. Not sure what that means but pre-season is meant to set up their fitness not kill them off before November. Fatigue comes much easier nowadays as pre season isn't mere running like it used to be until the 90s.
