Gray may have scored but did very little else thought he kept there CBs honest. Did he do any less then Dykes or Austin? All 3 should be contributing more to overall team prrformance

Really important win but that last 10 minutes was like having your teeth pulled out. Ground it out and hopefully use this as a springboard. Dozzel starting to find his feet a bit and thought Moses was outstanding. Urssss

Good result to a boring match. Nice clean sheet. Great defensive header from Uncs near the end, or we could have easily drawn. A bit frustrating that we can´t put a poor team like that to the sword, when we look to be in control for 80 minutes, and then end up with a nervous ending like that. But I´ll take the win, and hope it´s the start of an amazing winning streak from now until the end of the season. Come on U R´s.

Looking more solid defensively but might be because Cardiff are crap. Injuries stacking up unfortunately. Moses was excellent…..I think that Forest game is turning point for him. Albert again was excellent. Dickie MoM for me. No one again had a bad game.

Field back next week also Stefan looked injured at the end☹️ I think Stefan is literally always carrying something mate. Not ideal with a lack of options in the squad. He'll be constantly asked to play through it to some extent. As for Moses, great game last night. Such a frustrating player!

Stefan goes down non stop at the end of games to kill time done it since his time at Fulham. Just sits down on turf Ref stops play walks over then he gets up. Very clever fella I totally get what you mean about Moses being frustrating as when he plays like he did yesterday you can see there is a player in him and he’s an asset. He’s not as bad as some make out but I do get why people get fed up as I watch him on occasions and think wtf you just done that, as example he seems to try and hold ball up and the man off then spin and run forward. Most times he loses ball trying and there was easy option of laying ball off

Yes, similar to Blackburn. Good sign if we can grind out 1-0 wins.

Great win. Was never going to be easy when they have ditched their manager. I thought their home support was pretty good though, that's how it came across. Fair play to them (the ones who turned up).
Moses was very good. Didn't offer too much in the first half but not many did. Grey and Dykes were working hard and there were a fair few nearly moments when the ball nearly reached them, nearly beat the man etc. For those slating Grey though, whilst he wasn't perfect, watch his movement. He is the only striker that I recall in recent years (maybe Wells?) who constantly (and I mean constantly) trying to run in behind. He needs through balls and he'll do well. That ball from Dozzell, was epic. But again, you can only do that if you have movement. You can't do a great pass without movement otherwise a through ball is just over hit.
SHout out to Dozzell again though, he was very good against Forest and very good here. He keeps the ball, battles but does look to go forward as well. He's like a good Tom Carrol in that respect.
Again though, why is Johansen or Chair chasing down the keeper, making a sprint from 40 yards back? They don't play out the back, Smithies is always going to launch it. All they are doing is creating space in the middle and using up their energy. 10, 15 yards away go for it. But 1 person chasing just creates space and it's not really what id call 'good' pressing. Just my thoughts, as shape is key especially in a tight game.

great result against a team who had no interest in the first half of attacking us , its so difficult playing against such negative tactics . It reminds me of us in the premier league , Cardiff won`t be picking up many more points ,just the odd draw playing like that . Moses , was for me our stand out player ,but it was a great team performance and hopefully it will go something towards calming down our supporters that think the dressing room has been contaminated .

The best thing this team has about it is they have some fight in them .

Except the money bag Ruperts, corn fed by the Premiership. Who will come top no question.
We won the championship getting Adel, Derry and Clint on free transfers. Could that happen now?

Didn’t look at all happy. We’ll see.

But Charlie Austin`s form, or whatever, is a mystery. He is not better than a conference player anymore.

But Charlie Austin form or whatever, is a mystery. He is no better than a conference player anymore. Carrying a bit too much timber methinks... Definitely overweight mate. And he wasn't the most mobile when this wasn't the case to be honest. Bit disappointed in him myself. No excuse not be turning up fit to play.
