We rarely ever look close to taking these opportunities when they arise. Something very wrong with Warburton’s motivational skills IMO.
Generally completely waste the first half and forced to play catch up second half.

Will be majorly pissed off if we don’t win this. No chance of promotion if we are unable to beat this lot and really don’t want to be partly responsible for them staying up.

Only one goal and no one’s broken sweat yet apart from Willock and Adomah. Defenders are so slow. Shake it up and we could still take this.

thing is i don't even think a strike partner could help austin. austin is an incredibly limited player and were he anyone else he'd get pelters. all he can really do is score goals but only if the ball is put on a silver platter from him, no one will ever turn round and say "wow, what a performance from charlie!" because he's not that type of player.

any strike partner of his would have to drop deep and work extra hard to make up for austins statue imitation up front lol.
willock and chair are hindered with austin up front imo.

i loveeee austin too, great player for us and for sure an icon of the club if not legend one day but his time has come and he can't be relied on as a starter.

Every replay I see of goal worse Dickie looks ☹️ No man’s land then goes close when ball is played through. So much potential but still so raw. He won’t be going anywhere end of season
