Soon as I heard about the fatality and that the 17.31 and others were cancelled I got our lot to jump on the train to Leicester which was just about to pull in. 55 mins to there and then first stop London on the midland main line. Got to St Pancras at 7.15 happy days 😄
To those I tried to drag with me and declined I did try! 😂
As for the game. Deary me. What a shit performance quality wise at our new bogey team. Lots of possession with zero execution. Hendrick looked decent today at points. Looks a leader and you could see his quality.
Don’t want to pile in on Austin but fuck me. Apart from one volley he blazed over in the first half he was absolutely abysmal. Couldn’t even trap the ball. Totally ineffective.
For the money I presume he’s commanding he really isn’t doing it. Been saying all season he’s a last 20 min man. Bring him on for his experience and nouse.
We really needed a striker this window. Dykes has 1 good game every 5/6 and Gray doesn’t score at home.
All round very poor team performance against a shit side.

Great ball for Albert but I couldn't believe he side footed it. Should have absolutely drilled it with his laces. In fairness to their keeper, he made a number of really good saves. |

Any of those early second half chances would have changed the game but it wasn't to be.
Given the amount of time it took to get home after that shit result I am remarkably calm this morning.

Didn't even bother acknowledging this game. Had disappointing defeat written all over it. Not actually in the slightest bit bothered. Making the Play Offs is all that matters between now and May.
