Played against an equal team. satisfied with a point. My only complaint is why is hendrick getting on the pitch ahead of Amos. Said to Westy during game thst Warburton doesn’t fancy Amos. I’m not sure he knows where to play him tbh.

We were 2nd best throughout and we missed a trick not signing a striker in the window. At one point I thought they had 13 men on the pitch as they just seemed to always have the ball. Agree about striker but wouldn’t have made any difference tonight. We created fuck all second half, they were all over us.

We are borderline top 6 player per player I think. Reason we are punching above our weight is 1) defensively pretty solid 2) Willock and Chair are quality and 3) Real team spirit. We will be 2nd best against the better sides in this league because they have better players. Cardiff went up automatic under Warnock and they were bloody awful. We can do this. Keep the faith fellas.

where and when did Wilder start his career? I can`t say I`ve heard anything about him before Sheffield United. He is someone Warburton should learn a few things from. Not saying Warburton is a bad manager, but he is still learning his trade. Bit harsh Shania. Compare resources that Wilder has had here and at Sheffield compared to Warbs with us. It’s not comparable. We’ve improved every season under Warburton and he’s had less budget than any of previous managers we had. Only this season has he had any real budget and look at us. No Warburton is doing just fine. I was only suggesting that Warburton like every other manager would have benefitted from input from other managers/coaches in the game. I`m sure they all do even Guardiola and Sir Alex in his prime(Maybe).

Boro are a decent side but I thought we made them look better through being overrun in MF,it was pointless to bring on another striker when we were being starved of possession.

Yes, basically everyone around us have a better squad but 1) come Saturday I think we have a fully fit squad for first time all season 2) unbeaten in 7 league games 3) next fixtures don’t look so bad.

We got away with a lucky point tonight. Johansen slow , sloppy and game passed him by . Uncle and Lee both had off nights . But for the bar and Marshall save it would have been curtains

That was a odd game and a hard watch. But for two unfortunate goals for them we would have won but if we had won we would have robbed them. Usually would say a draw is fair but actually think they edged it
Would have taken point pre match and ecstatic with point given how we played. Point gained imo
Few players played below themselves Chair aside from goal was poor looked like player who had not played in a month, field was totally bossed and overpowered by Crooks (liked the look of him) Stef could not pick a pass. Midfield never showed up yesterday and it showed
Dykes I thought had decent game so that is back to back good games in league so hopefully he’s finding some consistency. Defence were solid enough first goal they blocked two efforts fantastically, normally ball flies out box or behind for corner but with our luck landed their players feet. Second goal was soft as their player skipped into box to easily but it’s OG another time that gets stuck under Albert and Marshall picks it up
First impressions Henderick I like the look of him. Comfortable on the ball and plays with his head up and passes forward. Pressure on Stef I think as he looked like he could play his role comfortably
Think we lose that game 12/24 months ago so that’s progress.
Thought Middlesbrough looked really good, big and mobile side arguably best we’ve faced so point not a bad effort when as a team we’ve not showed up. Thought they had decent numbers too given distance midweek
Take point move on to Saturday

entertaining game for the neutrals that's for sure, if you'd have offered me a point before the game i would have begrudgingly taken it.
we played well in spells during the game but they started dominating after we scored our 2nd and we were lucky to still be in it, i didn't like watching middlesbrough take the game to us but we showed resiliance to hold on and see the game out.
subbing off johansen and droping to a 2 in midfield with willock as an AM and 2 up top was the wrong call imo. i think amos would have been a better shout over hendrick as amos has legs on him and gets about which is what we really needed as we were losing the midfield battle time and again.
will say though that i loved the pelters that agent lumley was getting, highlight of the game for me!

Agree Amos point. Not sure Warburton has decided what he is. With the current formation seemingly set in stone at the back,1 up top ,Chair and Willock behind the striker, who would you like to see alongside Amos Alan ?

Think Adomah and Wallace were pegged back too much so we couldn't do any/many passes in behind. Resulted in us going long and I thought Dykes did better than usual with his knock ons.

Just looking at boroughs form since 27 Nov
They have played 11 league games winning every one apart from three including us last night. And no one in that period has scored more then 1 goal against them
That was a bloody good point last night given we were not at our best

Got to love Joe Fumbly And very sporting to of us to repay Boro's ex-Rangers player gifting us a goal with our ex-Boro player reciprocating. A point earned in my book.

Barnsley very important game. Should spank both but ‘we are QPR’. Wilder knows what he’s doing at this level.

Interesting ratings Seen a few on Twitter raving about field performance yesterday. I thought he had a really poor game. Interested in others views on how he done I do find that I feel like I have a better understanding of the game when I sit on the half way line. I feel like I notice more about what players are doing, as there's a perspective of the game. Yet I stand in Y block for the games now but when I was younger I was a ST holder in V block, row M and I think I knew more about players then than I do now. Equally, I am older and have a beer now.

Viewing point I can’t stand is low down. Especially near pitch level when all you can see is a forest of legs. Back in the day managers used to be in the directors’ box which still seems to be the sensible place but to a man they stand in their technical areas. I’d hate it.

Easy to be wise after the event but I think we missed a trick not starting Moses whilst he appears to be coming into some form, same with Amos.

Yes..play him down the right to replace Albert, what I like about him he can go inside or outside a defender.has pace and got a trick to beat a player.
I don’t see many on here calling for Dozzell but imo he’s our only creative midfielder that can pick a pass that would suit the play style of Gray.Admittedly he has looked like a Rabbitt in the headlights on occasions but another that needs a run of games to show his best.
