I think he (Dickie) can't handle the pressure or mistakes he makes. Looking so depressed now when was very joyful last autumn. I think your spot on and the Cant cope with pressure applies to majority of them.

Interesting point - he does look thoroughly miserable but the fact he can’t run and turns like the QE2 isn’t psychological. Maybe so Alan, but wasn't he just like Redondo first games of the season? the early excitement start of season was based on him scoring goals the mistakes were still evident in his defending

It`s then a bit sad that Warburton forces" young and fragile players like Dickie to play it out from the back Imo.

Not gonna lie mate I’ve never really fancied him. Had a good run recently I will say and a better player than the one we bought but I find him frustrating to watch and not as good as some would like you to think. As for the free kick taker. If we haven’t anyone better than a CB who couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo then that really is tragic. Can't remember when we scored directly from a free kick? Chair, Johansen, Willock ,Barbet behind the ball. Never a threat. Yeni whatever his name was at Birmingham away.

This is more of an observation then anything else and it does not appear to have effected us regards defending set pieces but everyone we seem to play seem to be so much bigger then us we look like dwarfs
Dunne is our big man but he looked tiny compared to Hughill and there 27 and last few games noticed they all look huge compared to us
Feel like we lack bit of stature

27, the kid who smacked that brilliant free kick is 19. If he was here he wouldn’t be anywhere near the team.

Strange how more often than not we take the attitude that even players in there early twenties are considered as not yet ready for first team action. Trevor Francis was playing at 16. So many teenagers made there debuts back then. Our own Frank Sibley was still 15. I expect you remember his debut! Thanks for your help yesterday. I’ll not be requesting a refund. 😂

Clive Allen scored 32 goals in a season at aged 18. Now he'd be on loan at Gillingham. Go figure.

‘63. My dad was a spud, used to go with bro in law but he died unexpectedly and dad thought 60-70k at WHL was a bit much for a nine year old. We lived in Queens Park so…

Despite having the 3 smallest players in the league up front in Willock Chair and Gray and Cardiff having 2 of the biggest, did it stop us lumping it high? No of course it didn’t.
