Warbs actually picked the correct starting 11 and that showed in the 1st half as we played well and looked in control - indeed like our old selves once again. On 60 minutes, however, he became the master of his own downfall again, with those counter-intuitive substitutions. This exactly. The silly fucker tried to hold on but in doing so completely unbalanced the side. This is the kind of thing that makes him an average championship manager at best.

I went out last night to play 5-a-side and we had just gone 1-up. Got home and we'd been tonked. I really feel that was a BIG loss. Wouldn't be surprised now to see us really struggle to get anywhere near our form of earlier in the season. Whatever people's feelings about Dykes, he did a job of work, gave us options and scored some important goals. Chaz seems to be concentrating on his media career - putting on a bit of timber and slowing... Our keeper situation is dire. If I had to put my house on it, I wouldn't bet it on us making the play-offs. Does he ever talk about us? I doubt it.

Just watched the Breadman's last interview. Dropping Barbet was "purely tactical". Lost the plot ain't he?

It was the correct decision IMO to make room for Sanderson. Where he lost the plot was in midfield.

Perhaps mate. For me, Barbet should play when he's fit. Rarely lets us down these days. Maybe there is something bubbling away in the background. Hasn't signed a new contract, has he?
Clearly the midfield is the biggest issue at present. Way too many in there that don't bring enough to the table is my read on it. I suspect Johansen has been carrying an injury all season (or maybe he's just past it), cos he's been a shadow of the player we had on loan. Field huffs and puff and puts a shift in, but he's limited isn't he? And don't even get me started on Jeff Hendrick. He's got absolutely nothing, zero, robbing a living. Honestly I'd rather we dug up Jimmy Hendrix and started him in the engine room.
I do question whether the whole squad needs a rocket too. 1 or 2 that don't look fit enough for me. Charlie being the biggest culprit. Of course, we've been very unlucky with injuries. But I don't think we should be hiding behind that as an excuse. Standards since Xmas have slipped.

You don’t upset the back three in such an important game because you’re worried about pace down the right. Play Moses or McCallum and double up when attacked. Chair never backed up once.

Look at the positioning of Moses at the free kick for Forest first goal

Sanderson let his man get in front of him for the second goal , this is basic defending and shouldn't happen.

Are we talking about coaching here chaps? I’ve asked the question before, what do they do all week when we can’t even keep possession from a throw in. It’s either lack of coaching or lack of discipline when they go out. Can all be addressed.

Agreed but still think Sanderson, as one of our best defenders, needs to be accommodated. Which means dropping either Dickie or Barbet.

If Dickie was dropped for remaining fixtures his summer transfer value would diminish,If the requirements are last gasp sliding tackles and blocks then Barbet is your man.

His lack of pace has been exposed, the players selected ahead of him and the lopsided formation haven’t done him any favours though Alan.

Earlier in the season I did some spoof ‘Dickie is shit’ posts when Newcastle and West Ham were supposed to be interested but there is no way he’s a Prem player. His passing is poor and why he thinks he can trundle up the wing only to get closed down and lose it before he crosses halfway is a mystery the manager should have addressed. He looked like he could progress but I’m convinced now that he has peaked at our level.

Sanderson getting selected over Barbet is a joke. Dunno what evidence there is to suggest Sanderson is one of our "best defenders" either. Has he done something spectacular in a QPR shirt while I wasn't looking? Only thing he's done of note so far is get himself sent off for no decent reason as far as I can recall.

The defence was solid in the middle until that show pony of a plank turned up. Handed Forest and PBoro two goals on a plate. Only two games we've conceded three. Barbet must be laughing his ass off.

Dk, 77, Tarbs - Yes I fully agree about Sanderson today. I was at the game and he was dreadful. By far his worst game for us

Seemed a good signing at the time, which we all agreed I hasten to add - but another player we seem to have turned to shit
