Just home. Great to get the three points and definitely the better side but just about really. Barely created any chances until the second half. A few players stood out today, Dunne, McCallum, Amos, Dozzell, Field for his blocking and interceptions. Dykes had a couple of chances but again doesn’t do enough for me to get 90 minutes. Not sure what Gray has done to fall so far in the pecking order. Put ourselves back in with a slim shot and who knows what can happen. Roll on Stoke Thought BGB had a very good game today, for a change. Dozzel was anonymous, donkey was hopeless once more. Amos proving once more that he should not have been dropped for a barcode. Sandersons best game for us but Jimmy is my MOM |

Yes, but wasn't last season a big improvement? This season is only slightly worse. Surely you admit that two seasons is relatively short time? last season we were heading for the relegation fight until the club stepped in and bought Austin and Johansen. This season we have plummeted from second place in our hands to virtually no chance of a play off spot. We’ve played slightly better recently playing players who wouldn’t have got a look in if there weren’t any injuries - Amos, Georginho for example. Today he put Austin on before our top scorer - why on earth would you do that? So, here’s the sales pitch for season tickets - ‘ Roll up, roll up chaps, get your money out. We’re looking to finish mid-table and carry on losing money and we’re hoping we don’t have to dig deep again in Jan to get us out of the shit again’. Very aspirational. He won’t take us any farther on. He has managed only for two seasons! They said the same about Ferguson until Cantona saved him after six seasons. Small margins, one player can determine your success. I prefer top half football to bottom half. And I want us to play Premier League football unlike half of those who want Warburton sacked. |

They said the same about Ferguson until Cantona saved him after six seasons. That's a bit of a ridiculous comparison tbf Timmy. Ferguson wasn't in the same stratosphere as Warburton as a manager. Plus he'd already proved himself at Aberdeen, and up to the point had an unblemished managerial record. |

This late season dip in form has been very frustrating and after today's win you can look at the table and there are so many what ifs, we could and maybe should have been in the play offs! The positives are we are getting a good look at some key younger players who may be playing a much bigger role for us next season so all has not been lost, an interesting off season is ahead of us!

Enjoyed Warnock talking yesterday about refs, he made a great point about VAR where it’s just another closed shop Ref with a whistle working with his colleague from last week.
So many rule changes have left referees open to their own personal interpretation of the rules.

For me,too many of their supporters just laughed when their owner sold the stadium to himself. I really don`t want them to go out of business, but when the hard working Luke Amos scored and Tom Lawrence a minute later was shown the red card, I honestly thought that justice done.
