if we do bring in richards then my suggestion of luongo is obviously a no go, much to everyone elses happiness lol.
don't think its possible for us to bring in a 20 goal a season striker but you do find that the championship does have one or two random bizzare top goalscorers every year like ben brererton and gyorakas for blackburn and coventry respectively. i do really like the look of bonne in preseason to be fair, he's lead the line extremely well and has done enough to be given a chance with us imo.

Positive he thinks Armstrong can make an impact this season. Patrick was great, won me loads of money from a Dons fan back then. We kept betting a fiver if he would score and he kept doing it. Stopped doing it at the same time he went back to being shit, it was great. |

Beale seems pretty pleased with what he has to work with.
Hesitant about bringing another striker if it hinders Armstrong's development.
Loves Sam Field, who he thinks is destined for higher things.
Don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but that very slight small when talking about the Millwall lad makes me think we might land him...
Like the way Beale speaks - plainly, no bullshit and not too may football managers' cliches.
Feeling optimistic for a good showing this season.

Bit unsure about this one.
Huge pressure on a number 9 and we’ve had a few such young loan prospects from big clubs - Macheda springs to mind - who might come in thinking they are too good for us but actually aren’t even as effective as what we already have. Plus not sure where it would fit with our policy of loaning with a view to buying. Appreciate its not easy for the club to land a decent striker.

highly rated a few years ago. i think we tried getting him in 2 years back too but it never happened. pacey defender and modern fullback, he's decent but nothing special tbh but would slot into the side well. i think there's better options out there though |
